Our Mission:
The Swinney Foundation empowers communities through education, skilled trades, and the arts. We advance knowledge and inspire growth by delivering inclusive programs that promote learning, creativity, and opportunity.
The Swinney Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit located in North Alabama.
Our mentoring program helps our Life Students discover their strengths and grow personally. We guide our students as they develop essential life, social, and professional skills for lasting success.
Our goal is to provide meaningful support to individuals who have faced significant challenges. This program, tailored for survivors, empowers students to achieve self-sufficiency through knowledge, experience, and compassionate guidance. We help each Life Student rebuild their life and succeed in their work and community.
